It has everything to do with eating! We go out to eat on a pretty regular basis and when we do, we encounter all types of great waiters. So, we are dedicating a blog to those special people who make our meal experiences that much better! When you read about these awesome waiters, don’t take our word for it…go check them out for yourself!

J Alexanders

So, for our first Wait Watchers blog, what better restaurant than one of our absolute favorites - J Alexander's. Our waitress was alright, but that is not what this blog is going to be about. It all started when Kaycee ordered her cheeseburger medium. We all got our food but Kaycee's trained eye immediately noticed something awry. Upon cutting into her burger, we all could see that it was well-done and fairly dry. I could understand this happening at a less expensive restaurant, but at J Alexanders, they should know how to cook meat. The waitress took the hamburger back (after Kaycee secured her french fries off of the plate) and when the second burger came out, Katie and I were done eating. When that burger was cut in half, it was burned AGAIN! The manager just happened to be walking by at this point and took notice of our situation. He profusely apologized and said he would bring another burger out in a to-go bag. When he brought it out, we expected him to tell us the burger was on the house, but what happened next we did not expect! He handed us each a $25 gift certificate to J Alexanders! Now that's service! So this goes out to the best restaurant manager in town, Anthony Charles!
-Brandon
